Flashback Alternatives is becoming more interactive. Our new Listener Chat is now live on the station website, along with a new 3-Play Request option that gives registered listeners more control over what they hear.

The new Listener Chat is built directly into the Flashback Alternatives website and replaces our previous external chat service.
Chat features include:
Custom listener profiles and avatars
Static and animated emoticons
Text formatting and color options
Private messages
A pop-out Chat window
Responsive desktop and mobile layouts
Account-based moderation and security controls
The new Chat is integrated with your Flashback Alternatives account, helping us provide a more personalized and better-moderated community.
Request three songs at once!
Registered listeners can also use the new 3-Play Request feature. Instead of submitting one request at a time, you can select three eligible tracks and send them together as a single request.
Before a 3-Play is submitted, the system checks all three selections to confirm they are currently requestable. If one of the tracks is unavailable, you can replace it before anything is sent — no incomplete or partial 3-Play requests will be submitted.
Regular request limits, availability rules, and cool-down periods still apply.
Listener account required
Both Listener Chat and the 3-Play Request feature require you to be logged in.
Creating an account is free and also gives you access to your profile, request history, private messages, optional account security features, and future listener-only additions.

Synchronized Home Panel Heights
- Listener Chat now matches the actual rendered height of Now Playing plus all eight Recently Played rows on desktop.
- The height is recalculated automatically after live song updates, image loading, font changes, and browser resizing.
