Flashback Alternatives is an independent internet radio station dedicated to Classic Alternative, New-Wave, post-punk, synthpop, college-radio favorites, rare tracks, Punk, Indie, and modern artists that belong beside them.

The station began as Kick Up The Eighties on Live365 and has continued broadcasting a distinct mix of classic, rare, and obscure alternative music since 1999.

The station was built around a simple idea: Classic Alternative deserves more than the same narrow rotation. The format has room for New-Wave essentials, college-radio favorites, overlooked imports, deeper album tracks, and newer music that carries the same spirit forward.
